But according to the 1901 Census of Canada, Mose was born in Aug or Oct (month hard to read) in 1898 in British Columbia, and was 3 years old. Rumor has it that he or one of his brothers moved his birthdate to an earlier year in order to retire early with Social Security, it seems most likely to be him. This family tree is for the families of the descendants of Abraham Bernard Grossman and Lena Bernstein, who were from Lapy and Suwalki, Poland. They were married in Los Angeles, California in 1891, where they had their first child, David Isaac in 1892. The rest of their children, Betty, Mose, Samuel, John and Emile were born in Seattle, Washington; New Westminster, British Columbia; and Manhattan, New York between 1895 and 1904.
